Takakkaw Falls.  There I am on the bridge heading to the falls.  Melt water from Daly Glacier feeds this fall.

There I am next to the tree trunk.  Above me is the Whiskey Jack Falls.  The Iceline trail will take us up above the tree line then contour along the glaciers.

This was the second longest hike of our trip.  It was also our first and only hike in British Columbia's Yoho National Park.  There is Takakkaw Falls in the distance.  You can see fresh snow on the trees.

After crossing above the tree line the weather continues to drop as we approach the glaciers.  Down below is Yoho Valley.

Wonderful views of glaciers everywhere.  Now I know why this hike is called Iceline.

Boy is it cold here.  A beautiful glacier lake.  Only 100 years ago glaciers covered this barren landscape.

Dave, in the distance, about to reach the Celeste Lake Connector junction which returns down to Yoho Valley.

The Celeste Lake Connector trail was patched with snow and beauty.

Along the Marpole Connector Trail leading towards Marpole Lake.  We hiked along these huge boulders for 1 mile.  Our destination was Twin Falls.

Crossing the bridge with Twin Falls in the background.  During the Spring you can see two water falls.  But in September you only see one.

Water flow from Twin flows runs over the edge and heads down towards Yoho Valley.
